The partnership between Louwman and BYD matches the growth ambitions of both companies. For BYD, it represents an important stage in expanding its business in Netherlands. Louwman, as an experienced dealer group with strong position, will provide BYD with online and offline network for both sale and service of its electric passenger vehicles.
Louwman will implement an online first strategy for BYD in which all important customer processes, including the purchase itself, can be done digitally. In addition, several physical stores will be opened at key locations in the Netherlands, starting with Amsterdam. The first test drives are planned this year. From September, customers will be able to visit the pioneering store in Amsterdam and review BYD’s latest models.
